We were already happy with SW Truck and RV last year for repairs and maintenance on our diesel RV. Yesterday, after we had called ahead the day before, spoke with Ervin, and he fit us in. We had a problem with the stabilizer jacks not working. Ervin very quickly found the breaker causing the problem, showed us how to fix it in the future, and checked under the hood. All done in 10 minutes.

Southwest Truck and RV – Prescott Valley
We were recently without our truck for an entire month after it broke down while we were out of town. Initially, we had it towed to Galpin Ford because it was the closest dealership, but we were extremely disappointed with their customer service. The very next day, based solely on online reviews, we had it towed to Auto Works.
Auto Works kept the truck for two weeks but ultimately said the repair was outside their scope of work. They recommended towing it to Southwest Truck and RV, and to be honest, we were really nervous. We didn’t know them and felt completely at the mercy of whoever was next in line. Our preference would’ve been to get the truck back to our trusted mechanic in Phoenix.
We don't understand why Southwest Truck and RV has any negative reviews—our experience was outstanding. From the moment our vehicle arrived, Bryan gave us confidence. He communicated with us daily, clearly and transparently, updating us as they tried to get to the bottom of the issue. It wasn’t a quick fix, but they clearly had all the necessary testing tools and experience to diagnose things methodically.
We kept getting bad news when one fix didn’t solve the problem. Our 2004 F-250 Diesel has over 200,000 miles, and my husband suspected it was the fuel pump. When he asked if they should just replace it anyway, Bryan told him, “The fuel pump is working fine—if it ain’t broke, don’t mess with it.” That honesty really stood out.
As costs began to add up, Bryan asked if my husband was a veteran (he is), and they kindly applied a veteran’s discount and even discounted several parts. In the end, it was a $5,600 repair. Ouch, but our truck is back to doing what it was meant to do—being a workhorse. The same day, we drove to Home Depot and the truck bed was loaded to the roof. It even sounds quieter than before… or maybe that’s just wishful thinking. 😊
When we picked it up, the owner Marc came out to personally shake our hands and thank us for the business—a real class act. Bryan, Ervin, and Marc even bonded with my husband over their love of old trucks. Total truck nerd love fest! 😂

$6500 to fix a leaking dipstick. Then when I arrived to pick my bus up and drive it back to California one of the airbags was leaking, and the bus died halfway back. I was stranded at a truckstop with little help from these guys. After finally making it home and several calls, I’ve still had very little help with figuring out the problem
I really wanted to give these guys a 5 stars but my experience was far from good. I originally brought my bus in because I thought the motor was blown. I was looking at close to a $20,000 After them having the bus for a few weeks, they let me know that I had several oil leaks in the motor and did not need a new engine Which was good news to me and somewhat honest on their part. However, they advised me that there were several oil leaks in the motor and in reality, and after more research, it appears that there was only one small leak that they had to repair. They missed the second leak, which caused my alternator to fail half And after several phone calls, they offered little help. After making the drive out from Bus with them, knowing that I was taking it back to California I arrived to find that the airbag had been leaking and was not currently. Rather than giving me a phone call and asking me if I would’ve liked to replace Drive home and be safe. I was not informed until I came to pick it up.. I had to take the bus down to Phoenix and get the airbag swapped before I could make the drive home. I’m very disappointed in the way everything is turned out, but glad to finally have made it back home. I really had high hopes for the shop, but apparently I just got the short end of the stick

We went in for the brake lines and after some complications on our vehicle. The owner was extremely accommodating until the vehicle was repaired. Highly recommend for any bus or RV fixes

My truck had to go in for unknown problems. The shop was very helpful in diagnosing and finding the problem with my truck. Katie at the front office was very helpful and polite and went above and beyond to make sure I was informed every step of the way. Irwin was also very helpful and very polite and understanding. I had some circumstances on my bill and wasn't able to settle it all in one day. But Irwin told me take your truck and settle the rest the next day. Who does that these days. They do, that's right this shop has the good ol boy mentality. Great group of people here and highly recommend this shop for any repairs you might need.
Good service and customer service. I had them install new tires for my Class A motorhome. Good price, tires with recent date codes, and done on time.

My husband is very particular about the service shops and techs he takes our travel trailer and vehicles to for repair and service. Needless to say, we’ve been to quite a few shops over the years. We decided to go to SW Truck and RV to have service on our trailer. From the first conversation with Sonny on the phone to make the appointment, and throughout the process, we were extremely pleased. The service guys we worked with, Jake and Ervin, were awesome; super nice, caring, and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job and took lots of time to answer any questions we had. Mark, the owner, took the time to come out and meet us and shake our hands. It’s pretty obvious he truly cares about his business and his employees. This will be our go-to shop for service on our RV as well as our diesel truck. Thank you to all of you for your attention to detail and excellent service.
Mark was incredibly kind, accommodating, and saved us from being stuck when our camper needed repairs mid-trip. He treated us with respect and made sure the RV was road-ready for us in no time, and, when we learned that our repair needed another day, he allowed us to camp in his lot for the night. A real salt-of-the-earth kind of team - the sort you could see yourself being friends with. Thank you so much! Would highly recommend for RV rentals and service.
We couldn't find anyone who was willing to change our oil and filter for our diesel RV. Southwest agreed to do it for much less money than the Phoenix-area dealer, and then also did some trouble-shooting and additional needed repairs. They were great to work with and did excellent work in all ways. Top notch!
I am from out of town and bought a used 38' Diesel pusher in Prescott Valley. Previous owner was having health concerns and not very clear on a few issues that had come up in the RV inspection. Galpin RV was doing work for previous owner when I purchased but I was having nothing to fo with that dysfunctional bunch so I started asking around and Southwest RV was recommended and what a professional group i found myself with! IThey were thorough in diagnosing the issues, calling the chassis and body manufacturers for answers, Mark was calling me with updates, and their work was done in a very timely manner. They even went to my storage facility to pick up my RV when my scheduled time was up as I was out of town. When I got in town with my pull behind vehicle with blue ox already on it, Mark insisted I hook it up to the coach and he made sure all was good. One of the technicians did a walk around with me an Mark as well to make sure I knew all issues were resolved plus some. Heck, I was calling Sonny 2 days later asking him unrelated questions that he gave me answers for. These guys know what they are doing, they have integrity, and are worth every penny of their pricing. Thanks guys!
While traveling, I had MAS go bad on my 09 DuraMax. They got me in and out, in about 2 hrs. Sonny suggested a family restaurant down the road and it was great.

We had a problem with the air bag/leveling system on our 2008 Motorhome. The technicians were great and worked on it several hours. They called the chassis maker, the coach maker and the maker of the leveling system. All pointed fingers at each other. The tech finally got someone at the maker of the controller system and in working with them, found that the instructions for how to reset the leveling system had errors!!! Once he worked through the process with the company rep, the system worked fine. They had checked several other potential issues and corrected them.
I highly recommend this company and would certainly use them again if we were in Prescott Valley, AZ and needed work on my RV. The tech was friendly, diligent, kept at the job until mission accomplished. Hats off to him and the management team.

5 stars for honesty, integrity and service. Another RV dealer and repair place quoted me a very hefty bill for suspension and brakes. Took to Southwest and was given an honest answer that the work was not even needed to be done at this time and everything looked good. I thanked them for being honest, the reply was “ that’s how we do business and they believe in honesty and integrity.” They have earned my business for life. Highly recommend them as a go to for a first honest opinion.
They are very professional, kind and thorough. I trust all of them with my life, especially since they are handling my overused vehicle. They are honest and humorous. (Miss ya', Joe!). Everyone from Mark>Auto Crew> Megan everyone has been a joy to interact with. I appreciate them so much and do my best to show my gratitude with unhealthy homemade stuff. I have been rescued by them on numerous occasion. That includes the first time I needed help. I truly believe that they are a blessing from God to keep my family and I safe. Kudos to the crew at Southwest Truck and RV!! We were traveling through Prescott and had a problem with our motorhome and they fit us into their busy schedule. The owner treated us with respect and his staff worked very hard to get us back on the road in very quick order. I was impressed with their work, their friendliness and their determination in solving the problem. I have no hesitation recommending this business and wish them well.
We are so happy to have found this business. We needed new tires on our RV & an oil change. Ervin, the service manager, was great communicating with us, and we were very happy with their service. Will definitely be our “go to” place for RV service in the future.

These guys changed my oil and air filter on my diesel RV. I originally brought it in for AC repair, but they referred me to another local company, as it was beyond their scope. I got the AC repaired by their referral, at a reasonable price and I believe they ended up saving me money. I will be using them, and their referral, for work in the future.
